Common questions

All questions
Are my files uploaded to a server?

No. Files are opened with your browser’s file access and processed in memory on your device. The website only delivers the application code and the processing engines. Your documents are not transferred to us or anyone else.

Is it free? Are there limits?

All tools are free to use, without an account and without daily task limits. The only practical limit is the memory and speed of your device, which matters for very large files.

Does it work on my phone?

Yes. The interface is designed for touch, and the scanner uses your phone camera directly in the browser. It works in Safari on iPhone and in Chrome on Android.

Can I use it offline?

After your first visit you can install the site as an app. The application is then available without a connection. Text recognition languages are downloaded the first time you use them.
