DocsNest is a document scanner and PDF toolkit that respects the privacy of the documents people trust it with.

Why it exists

Most online PDF services ask you to upload contracts, identity documents and medical records to their servers. Modern browsers are powerful enough to do this work locally. DocsNest uses that power so you do not have to hand your files to anyone.

How it is built

The application uses proven open-source engines: PDF.js for rendering, pdf-lib for writing PDFs, Tesseract for text recognition, OpenCV for document detection, qpdf for repair and ZXing for barcodes. They run as WebAssembly inside your browser.

What it costs

Using DocsNest is free, without an account and without artificial limits.
