How to use Edit PDF

The editor opens your PDF in this tab and lets you add real, selectable text in any language, place images and signatures, draw, and rearrange the result. Nothing is uploaded: the file is rewritten on your device and downloaded straight back to you.

  1. Open the PDF you want to change.

  2. Choose a tool: add text, replace existing text, insert an image or signature, draw or add shapes. Select any object to move, resize or style it.

  3. Press Save PDF and download the edited copy. Your original file is not modified.

Private by design

Your files are opened and processed inside this browser tab. They are never uploaded to a server.

How it works

Questions

Can I change the text that is already in the PDF?

Yes, with Replace text. Click a line, type the new wording, and it is placed over the original in a matching size and colour on a background that hides the old words. The original text remains in the file underneath, so for confidential content use Redact PDF instead.

Does Arabic text work?

Yes. Arabic is shaped and ordered right to left, and mixed Arabic and Latin lines keep the correct order. Text is embedded with real fonts, so it stays searchable.

Is my PDF uploaded anywhere?

No. The document is opened and saved inside your browser. It never leaves your device.

Can I delete or rotate pages while editing?

Yes. Use the page list to rotate a page or mark it for removal. Anything you added to a rotated page turns with it.

Which keyboard shortcuts are available?

Ctrl+Z and Ctrl+Y undo and redo, Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V and Ctrl+D copy, paste and duplicate, Delete removes the selection, arrow keys nudge it, and single letters pick tools: V select, T text, P pen, H highlight, R rectangle.
