How to use Add page numbers
Add clean page numbers to reports, contracts and theses. Pick a corner, a format such as "Page 3 of 12" or roman numerals, and the pages to number. Rotated pages are numbered the right way up.
Open the PDF you want to number.
Choose the position, format, starting number, font and distance from the edge. The preview shows the real result.
Select the pages to number and download your PDF.

Questions
Can I skip the cover page?
Yes. Turn on "Skip the first page", or number a custom range such as 3-20.
Can numbering start at a number other than 1?
Yes. Set any starting number, which is useful when a document continues another one.
Can numbers alternate sides for double-sided printing?
Yes. Turn on "Mirror on even pages" and the numbers move to the outer edge on every page.
Which formats are available?
Plain numbers, "Page 1", "Page 1 of N", "1 / N", "- 1 -", and lower or upper case roman numerals.
