Questions
Will compression make my text blurry?
No. Text and vector graphics are not rasterised. Only embedded images are resampled, so text stays sharp and selectable.
Why did my file barely get smaller?
Files that contain mostly text, or that were already optimised, have little left to remove. Scanned documents and photo-heavy files usually shrink the most.
Is there a file size limit?
There is no fixed limit. Very large files depend on the memory of your device. Closing other tabs helps.
Is my document uploaded for compression?
No. The compression engine runs inside your browser. The file is never sent to a server.
